Did you ever wonder what happens with your pet during their stay with us?

To help answer that question this page shows all the steps we usually take during a grooming.  Cleaning ears: Any hair growing in the ear is removed.  A cleaning solution is applied with a cotton pad to the outer ear area to clean dirt and grime.  Trimming Nails: We trim the nail as short as we can without cutting into the nail quick and then the nail is smoothed.  Bathing: The pet is bathed with one of a variety of shampoos.  We evaluate the condition of the coat and skin to select the proper shampoo.  The pet is then brushed and blown dry.  Trimming: When completely dry the pet is then trimmed according to your wishes.  The styles may vary but we try to leave the pet looking like the breed is intended to look.  Or we will trim to a different style if you wish and it is possible given your pets coat condition.  Matted hair can pose a very real health problem for your pet.  It is painful to your pet and can harm the skin or hide potential health problems.
